I understand they have a new chef. Loved For. Love the seasonal specials. Quiet Conversation. Great for Brunch.
Wonderful food, outstanding oyster options. Worth the Drive. Overall 3 food 2 service 2 ambience 4.
Very good value for lunch. Love the 25 cent cocktails at lunch! The featured 25 cent cocktail of the day was cherry lime with vodka, which was incredibly refreshing and the right amount of sweet and tart.
This proved a good alternate despite the mysterious sauce.
We were delivered hot bread and no butter and since the server was not around we had to get it off another table, until he came back and we had no salt and pepper which we got off another table. Portions were very small and fish did not taste fresh. The restaurant is enormous and has a whole museum you can visit. We are the oldest family owned restaurant in the country serving traditional French Creole cuisine since 1840.
Happy Hour. Once we were settled in, the room was fine.
Overall 1 food 1 service 1 ambience 3. The food was adequate at best the osters Rockefeller topping was so thick you had to cut it with a knife.
Beautiful, historic restaurant, excellent food, lovely way to spend an afternoon! We were seated with no problem.
Overall 2 food 2 service 4 ambience 4. People Watching. The food was fantastic as well as service. Brian was a phenomenal waiter and the service was absolutely fantastic!
Sorry NOLA get it cleaned up and act like the culture you inspire to be.
