The Leveled Books Database at A to Z Teacher Stuff allows users to search by title or author to determine the reading level for student books. Join the Team! For instance, a student who is in the first month of fourth grade and reading on-grade would be well matched to a book with a Reading Level of 4. On the other hand, sixth graders can be encouraged to read nonfiction picture books that are informative and accessible to older students.

Specialist Grading Guidelines. Many of the books at this level are filled with animal characters that have wonderful adventures! Book - 1997. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure it's a wonderful app, but I have yet to see it in action. When I had a big stack of books that needed to be leveled, I appreciated being able to quickly and easily find this information so I could move on to the next book in the pile. Reading Recovery is an intensive one-on-one remediation program designed to supplement reading instruction for students in grades K—2 who are slow to read.
